Short answer is yes. MFG would be part of a broad ETF like VAS and thus as individuals buy that ETF there is an accumulation of Vanguard ownership.
That doesn't mean the fundementals of MFG have change at all. Just that there is likely some buying pressure (helps share price) from the consistent ETF accumulation.
