THE No. 1 PEST/SHORTER in the name of JPM has now jumped on ATH. Almost 100% of trades in the change announcement are shorting (bortowed/return borrowed) trades.
With this, it is going to be a difficult road for ATH to gain SP momentum traction.
There are arguments for/against shorting around a stock. Am aware of all that, but over many years, having had stocks that JPM jumped on as a shorter, unfortunately not a positive news.
DISCLOSURE. Was looking for opportunity to buy in but with JPM now around it, may still butmy but rethink my strategy, leaning tward more medium/short term.
