Not sure about those dividends yet. They are a few years off and expected to arrive in a plane. Could be a huge tariff applied to them on arrival, the plane could run out of fuel or worse. But in their infintite wisdom ZIP is spending $50 mil on a buyback. IMO they must have run out of ideas - they could hold capital in reserve for the almost certainty that the US is going in to sharp decline, which will stifle growth as well as pump the risk up in the receivables book. Or they could keep some capital in reserve to cover the risk of the loss in the HIgh Court $$$$$$$$$$$$$$
I do not know what ZIPs plan is other than I have always believed they are keeping the company in shape to be taken over. No debt, no capital, just keep running along on the smell of an oily rag until the knock on the door comes and CSs freebies get paid out. This is even more evidence, coz this buyback is the most craziest thing for a cash strapped company. Cs, I know you're there, send us a sign that this is right lol
