I think the Blackrock fund accumulating is their 'Gold and General Fund' which had about 800M pounds under management as of early last year. That makes it one of the larger gold funds out there. They appear to be quite selective in their holdings because they only held six ASX companies last year (as opposed to something like GDXJ which probably has 15 at a guess).

While Blackrock has 58M shares, the UK fund has only about 12M eyeballing the notice. I think they're likely to keep acquiring. I remember when they bought into PDI they kept adding for a long period as there were consistent notices.
