I was thinking about this this morning - I've got about $30k worth of MSB through my super fund which participates in a securities lending program with JP Morgan - assuming they're lending my shares out at a rate that google tells me is around 10% I'm missing out on $3k per year as none of that securities lending cash is remitted to me - I do wonder if there's a class action case against super funds asking for the amounts earned in securities lending to be remitted to the beneficial owners accounts, at the moment I believe it gets to offset the admin fees for all members which doesn't seem fair.
