The FDA gave FDA approval after the third attempt (additional data, yes, not an additional trial). Because you read these threads, the obvious possible answer is that the FDA failed and it was MSB's (and mainly SI's) persistence and knowledge that forced it through.
And I'm not saying it wasn't that, at all. SI was breaking new ground and man-o-man did his knowledge and courage under fire pay off. Kudos to him. Truly. Note: I believe it was at the detriment of his CEO duties and now we are paying the price.

It seems that it took Krause to actually convince the FDA. You may say, YES, that's how broken the FDA is and maybe that is right. Maybe SI getting Krause was what was the needed final ingredient. Maybe. As there is a 'But.......' above, what about this:
