The ASX determines whether an announcement is price sensitive or not on the basis that no one or any entity in the market has any knowledge of any previous company announcements given to the market.
Companies can recommend price sensitivity when telling the ASX about any announcement but has no say in the final price sensitivity determination added to that announcement when the ASX release it out to the market.
