I am not sure that the word is high risk. Why would santos hold on to find a partner if the prospect was rubbish in the first place. Santos can wait until the prospect owner company dies or almost so and then pick up the prospect for peanuts. The same applies with the Dukas prospect with CTP. Hydrocarbons are proven but they can wait out the junior partner and pick up later. From their point of view this is just good business. I for one understand this as there are no scruples in business.
