Wouldn't factor in Federal Government as an EEG exclusive advantage. We were the first mover to apply for fed grants for Beetaloo, which is simply a result of our management being proactive and more nimble than other prospective drillers. The NT Government is Labor and has the power to replace the fracking ban they put in place about 5 years ago before instigating the scientific review of potential impacts. Fracturing passed the science so pragmatically NT Labor aligned with the Liberals and lifted the ban. Can't see either party reimposing a NT fracking ban.
Federal Labor has nothing to gain if it wins the next election by making life difficult for any NT driller. So for once the fracking ban issue and encouragement of investment in developing new gas supplies is not a political threat before we begin to produce. For me, EEG has proven they are doing more to become the first Beetaloo producer than any of the other players you could invest in and is certainly the most leveraged to the region.
