As BGA says it's up to the ASX but BGA is undertaking (and completing) the institutional placement today so probably unlikely given BGA previously announced that's how it would proceed and (at least publicly), ASX did not question that.
But from our point of view as retail shareholders, I believe ASX should allow trading to recommence immediately that BGA made the annoucement to market. The instos will subscribe anyway.
Just why the ASX doesn't operate in our best interests is something many of us may wish to ponder.
