It would seem like a no brainer to sell energy into Mackay market surely?
There already appears to be transmission lines from Moranbah to Mackay and surrounding areas.....
Mackay obviously not quite as big as Townsville, but likely deal with the same challenges regarding intermittency of Solar & Wind....
As QPM have flagged potential of up to 300MW station capacity, it would appear they have something much larger in mind customer/ supply wise...
Might be worth investigating what other major energy hungry projects are slated for the area?
