Why not focus on the fundamentals of graphite powder sales instead of the applications where the BEM flake may or may NOT qualify in a specific battery manufacturers chemistry or format? Just because it is suitable in a third party lab does not mean it will meet specific performance metrics for either high energy or high power small, medium or large battery formats of battery manufacturers.
Fundamentals include preliminary qualified sales as a foil precursor, lubricants, friction, high end refractories, etc. where qualification times are manageable (i.e. 1 month to 6 months) verses electrochemistry qualifications that can take 24 months to 36 months which also include production end user products in field trials (another 6 to 12 months); all of which require commercial bulk sample qualifications prior to ANY sales agreements or near term sales.
An enormous amount of money is being spent on battery grade evaluations by 99% of all new starts instead of what will create revenue for a new start and focus on added value products once cash flow is established...boggles the mind!
