Tesla didn't mention the million mile battery on BD to avoid the Osborne effect. It was there nevertheless, their iron phosphate battery.I would agree with you for 25% of the cases. There, cycle life will not be so important. For the rest 75%: ESS, trucks, taxis, busses, company car fleet, robotaxi, etc. it will be very important. The whole business case will be dependent on the longevity of the battery.
