Why buy an old struggling business? Usually because a newer younger, less encumbered, and more innovative group knows how to create something better from some of its parts when it has been freed from all of it's constraints + partnered with a fresh vision. It's like saying why buy an old house in a good street when you can buy the better one for a lot more money. Some people see value and have vision!
