I watched the following video with Matt Davey & he has been involved in acquiring a larger company in the past. His Canadian listed $150M Canadian dollars company acquired a GBP 275M UK listed company. Then the combined entity was acquired.
And it all has to do with the transformation to digital. Tekkorp SPAC ready to gobble up the combined entity. Matt explains the difference between an IPO & SPAC. SPAC moves very fast & can make forward income projections etc. IPO is slow & relies on financial history, no forward projections.
Front end is not difficult according to Matt. Back end technical is difficult & where the value is. Long interview highlighting Matt's past success & future big picture.
He is actually an Electrical Engineer. Now an engineer of deals.
