They are using ponds liners and then front end loaders to lift out the salt , system KLL uses is more productive IMHO ..

I notice at great salt lake they show no centrifuge in the process flow sheet for K2So4, at the expenses of higher drying cost it does mean one less thing to go wrong IMHO .

K-Utec also advised Compass Minerals which operates Great Salt Lake SOP. It is interesting that Compass does not use a centrifuge whereas Kalium has decided to use one.
