I work in the mining industry in WA and can confirm this is a fact... moreover, smaller contractors are scraping the barrel for staff and can't fire anyone even when they are completely useless. It's definitely affected the bottom line of the project I'm on. Can imagine that this has also negatively affected KLL, as well as getting specialists through the iron curtain WA border to actually fix the technical issues on site. The border is supposedly opening on 5th Feb so maybe the situation will start to improve after that for KLL.
