The significant problems that both KLL and SO4 have had with brine management and processing (flotation in particular) suggests neither were sufficiently derisked.
How many years of solar evaporation experience did either of these predominantly iron ore teams have during scoping and feasibility?
Having said all the above the German technical backing at KLL looked to be extensive from pre-listing. They even stated in the feasibility they looked at a range of processing techniques.
