Knowing BHP exploration, nothing will proceed quickly but the ground water geochemistry and the potential of the ground has obviously interested them. Geoscience Australia have done a lot of work with different remote sensing technologies to encourage exploration in this area. They will do more geophysics and some stratigraphic drilling, just don't expect ore grade intersections next week.

It is encouraging that BHP is continuing to pivot towards copper, and copper located in Australia and not in Chile or Peru.
