The Top 20 OZL shareholders held 83% of the shares on issue, per February 2022 OZL Annual Report.
The majority of those listed are nominee companies.
For the Scheme of Arrangement to be approved, a resolution in favour must be passed at the scheme meeting by each class of target shareholders by both:
75% of the votes cast on the resolution; and
more than 50% in number of the target shareholders voting on the resolution (in person or by proxy).
BlackRock Group advised as at 14 February 2022, it and its associates had an interest in 18,069,842 shares, which represented 5.40% of OZ Minerals capital at that time.
Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group Inc advised that as at 20 September 2021, it and its associates had an interest in 16,967,671 shares, which represented 5.09% of OZ Minerals capital at that time.
