Yes, it was a good buy and smart move specifically with bad hedge book. IGO sold us tropicana for 1billion then they went and bought Western areas for 1.3billion. This purchase has been written off by $1 billion so far. Last few years gold is at all time high and nickel is past it best days and still falling.
I think RRL board did a good job and made it a decent gold miner with good growth potential.
