Xanadu controls a large, underexplored land package in Mongolia’s South Gobi, in a Tier-1 porphyry district. It is this that I feel offers massive value add for Zijin longer term.
As we all know The Kharmagtai project is a fast ROI and offers significant upside with zijins operational expertise to build the mine cheaper than assumptions. In addition there remains significant opportunity to drill more areas and expand the resource over time once operational.
My gut says they show up lunch time tomorrow and pinch it for a circa 20-30% premium. There aren’t many projects around like it in backyard their - copper and gold ready to go.
