I have just spent about an hour reading the Target Statement and find that it might as well have been written by the 'Bidders'
The Essa directors recommend the offer but do not say why! They offer the same things that the Bidder does i.e. If the offer is unsuccessful, the share price may go down. Isn't that a normal risk with shares? Conversely, they may continue to climb as they were before the offer. The business of Essa 'MIGHT" be affected by economic conditions, sales might fall, they might lose customers, the sky might fall etc. etc......
However, surely the converse might happen also!
They offer, IMHO, NO VALID reason to accept the offer.
Are the directors just tired or, do they know something that we don't and their not telling us?
Seems something fishy to me.
However, having read the Target statement, I am still of the opinion that ESSA could continue to prosper on its own and still believe that the shares are worth $1++ NOT 60 cents
