They state:
"The Offer provides immediate value to shareholders for their Stanmore Coal Shares, without further exposure tothe risks associated with current market conditions as well as the challenges inherent in the future developmentof Stanmore Coal’s full asset portfolio."
This means, of course, that they are more than happy to accept such risks in the expectations of considerable profit ahead. Given SMR's proven ability to run a coal mine profitably and pay a dividend which can only increase exponentially as they bring up production , why would shareholders want to sell?
