I agree with the core point that if you already own 49% of a tenement....why would you accept 37.5%?

I would not expect to receive an offer of 49% (note MCT's shares have performed ok since the announcement - they initially went up!)...I think MCT's management can provide some value added that could translate into a lower offer (than 49%).....but there has to be a much better offer for NME shareholders.....personally speaking I feel anything over 45% would get my attention....but 37.5%?!

I own both - so although a deal at this level would be nice for my MCT shares....I feel it's a lowball offer for NME....does not require much thought from me to do nothing.
