As i see it (lets call this an abreviated version): the reason why BIG videos are better than local marketing/video production guy. BIG is developing the platforms to help increase the exposure of your video. Their youtube site has 44m views. Many from regular viewers. Their app gives people the ability to look at local businesses around them (really good for those visiting a new city). They are in negotiations to sell TV programming for their top video production product – it’s a program kind of like Getaway that used to be on channel 9. So you sign your contract and not only do you get a 5 -10 minute video review of your business that you can use, you could also end up on a TV program (which they also get paid for creating – so they get paid twice for the content). That’s the advantage they are creating over other production companies.
You could argue the same for facebook.
