BIG sold to customers and a Finance company made the payment to BIG. So as far as BIG is concerned the money is in the bank and if payment is not made, then its the Finance Company that will sue and the customer will be the one who needs to cough up the cash.
That is the normal when motor vehicles or for that reason other chattels are involved.
Perhaps BIG was not as transparent about the financing - but had they to divulge how they got round the financing. .
I wish I could see an agreement.
If BIG had contravened any legal procedure, surely the ASX would have called a halt.
Maybe the price today is a gift price - There appears to be plenty of buyers - 11 million shares sold and their appetite has not waned.
