I know exactly how you feel, but IMO (which is worth less than a BIG share), personally, teaching or showing your customers your app is a brilliant idea.
Take for instance Commsec. I have the app, but no one ever ran through with me what I could do, achieve or how to use it. Now imagine if a Commsec employee had come and sat with me rather than just dumping it out there. Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy and I think that is the kind of personal customer service that will set this company apart.
Not only are they helping a business with advertising etc, they are helping them do it better and gather more users.
Not a bad idea in the end for me.
