Biggest Hit Yet in the Cayley Lode with 144m at 1.04%
Copper and 0.15g/t Gold
Spectacular new shallow intercept includes high-grade zone of 28m at 3.31% Cu, 0.49g/t
Au and is located ~275m along strike from the discovery intercept
➢ Very broad zone of significant copper mineralisation intersected from shallow depths in
the Cayley Lode in drill hole SMD104:
o 144m at 1.04% Cu, 0.15g/t Au and 3.4g/t Ag from 35m down-hole, including:
▪ 84m at 1.55% Cu, 0.23g/t Au and 5.0g/t Ag from 95m, including:
• 28m at 3.31% Cu, 0.49g/t Au and 7.1g/t Ag from 151m
➢ The upper portion of the intercept, from 35m to 95m down-hole, appears to reflect
secondary chalcocite enrichment with low gold values.
➢ The lower interval from 95m to 179m – 84m at 1.55% Cu and 0.23g/t Au – appears to
reflect hypogene copper-gold-silver mineralisation associated with the Cayley Lode.
➢ Consistent with many previous copper-gold-silver mineralised intercepts in the Cayley
Lode, the highest grades tend to occur on the basal contact between the host volcanosedimentary sequence and the serpentinised ultramafic – 28m at 3.31% Cu and 0.49g/t
Au from 151m down-hole.
➢ Resource drilling continuing on a 40m x 40m drilling grid with four rigs operating and
two further large-capacity rigs expected on-site within the fortnight.
