My point still stands…….dose escalation and dose safety is definitely very important……but don’t you agree that safety and efficacy could have been demonstrated by trials with less steps in dose escalation as the patients were effectively ‘dead men walking’
I agree that we should not trial on first line patients but when you are the last hope why not throw the kitchen sink at them as safety and life are already moot
