I wouldn't think GM should be underestimated for even a millisecond. You can't found and grow something like BBG just on good fortune alone. He has an edge in business acumen of some sort. BBG probably needs to be significantly tweaked rather than totally rebuilt - i.e. a lot of their old tactics and strategies will still work - they need to jettison the ones that no longer do work, and add some new ones.
