Good to see progress
Assuming they can fund their installation it will be good to see some data .

It does demonstrate the reality of cost of deploying wave energy on small scale. It has to produce a lot of energy over a long time to repay that cost. No different to wind or for instance gas exploration , pipeline and processing plant.

Ultimately need to see costs and numbers of output to see in what circumstances wave power has any advantages.

Amazing and disappointing after decades to still be in a position with no devices deployed and no real world data in public view.

These guys need $ and a big partner who will fund everything - from a investment point of view CCE has little leverage to get a reasonable value for their technology as simply a partner could buy the company cheap rather than pay a reasonable number for a lic of technology. It is going to be very hard for shareholders to get a return from this structure as ultimately the price of energy is known and cost of producing it and storing it is a known. It is only in certain circumstances that higher cost options become in any way viable and cost of implementation is a big factor at small scale. Again need to get firm number from CCE of LCOE so they can prove to shareholders that they are progressing in leaps and bounds not in minute increments
