Was thinking the same @Rouge1. Not sure if the LFP plant will be built before ours. The 4680 might use the 12 micrón and the LFP 16 micron? I don't know but I do know Tesla is worried about raw materials. I believe it is the reason they are switching half of the batteries used in their vehicles to LFP along with cost.
Wonder if Tesla makes an announcement tonight or how widely reported in the papers deal is. Only a minor deal for them but securing a graphite supply is a big deal.
