Market for direct reduce grade 65% plus iron ore could rise fivefold to750Mtpa according to new research from Wood Mackenzie. Globalrequirements for high grade iron ore will explode to five times the currentmarket by 2050. WoodMac says US$150-200 billion needs to be spent on developingiron ore mines, 63% on new high grade mines.
The appointment of Alwyn Vorster, an experienced mining executive with animpressive industry track record, a recognised iron ore expert and former “Dealerof the Year” at Diggers, as NED, is very significant and strong indication of AMDpotential and confidence.
IMO, subject to positive drill program confirming what is alreadyexpected as outlined in announcement, we could see share price rocket to 50c … especially whenAMD hits the radar of the majors aggressively looking for new high grade IO mines.
