with zero debt strong profitability and a very large past tax loss they would have to pay a dividend. Normally it is around 50% of net profit after tax (there will be no tax btw due to past loss). It could be higher if there are no new contracts announced but if there is a large new contract some of the profits may be required for growth capital purchases (mining equipment)
my guess is a $10mil capital return of some sort which would be a 15% fully franked final dividend or combo of div and buyback. It sounds huge but it would cement the turn around narrative the company have been touting and enable the new white knight investor to pay back personal debt from their $20M capital injection last year.
a return to dividend so quickly would put a rocket under the share price in my opinion. Hence the reason I was a decent buyer the past few days.
good luck to all
