1. United States

• Investment: Partners Group has made significant investments in the U.S. data center market, most notably through its acquisition of EdgeCore Digital Infrastructure, a developer, owner, and operator of hyperscale data centers.

• Details: In 2022, Partners Group invested USD 1.2 billion to acquire a majority stake in EdgeCore, headquartered in Denver, Colorado. This was followed by a second equity raise of USD 1.9 billion in 2024 to fund further expansion. The capital supports the development of EdgeCore’s data center campuses in key U.S. markets, including Ashburn, Virginia, Phoenix, Arizona, Reno, Nevada, Silicon Valley, California, and a recently announced campus in Culpeper, Virginia. EdgeCore serves major cloud and technology companies with long-term contracts, leveraging thematic trends like AI and cloud computing.

• Value Creation: Partners Group is working with EdgeCore’s management to expand existing sites, acquire new assets, and implement sustainability initiatives, positioning EdgeCore as a leading U.S. data center platform.
