Sorry to butt in.
The significance of a trend line is greater on a daily chart. But it does also depend on the volume done at those levels. Intra day bars and associated trend lines can be just as strong if the particular level around that trend line has churned through a significant amount of volume or has redirected a level or trend line but rejecting away from it impulsively.
