There is a multitude of patents because numerous companies have been trying to commercialise geopolymers for many years. This outfit is a prime example with probably what is essentially an identical product with very smart people who have been trying hard for a long time with minimal success: Geopolymer & Alkali-activated Technology | Zeobond
It works, but it is difficult to use and too expensive. It doesn't need kaolin in any form either.
