Thanks for posting the link @Rupfel. I also note that Elon Musk declared his ambitions to make cobalt-free batteries. In addition, the recent Stallantis presentation showed a slide that stated "Nickel-Cobalt Free" (instead using manganese, iron and lithium) [see image below]. So, it seems the ramp up to massive European EV rollout in 2024/2025 and onwards is not dependant on cobalt. At least, if cobalt supply and ESG issues were a problem, these massive car companies have other options up their sleeves.
Also, the 5-year binding off-take agreement with LG from 2025 suggests that Lithium will be key to BEVs until at least 2030. That's a good vote of confidence that the mineral won't be superseded for at least the next decade. That's enough time for long-term investors to hopefully enjoy significant share price upside from here. If Vulcan can expand their resources and secure more binding agreements, then the upside could be very exciting.
