I have already done enough research into the other likely battery compositions that are being researched for the EV Industry unlike yourself who has no idea of how much these battery manufactures continue to seek ways into eliminating the higher cost minerals from the current batteries, hence the reason the BIGGEST BATTERY MANUFACTURER IN THE WORLD has recently released it's Sodium-ion Battery and is the reason Tesla along with Ford GM and VW have inked deals with BYD for supply of their LFP Blade Battery and that currently their 3rd Generation Dolphin Battery is the SAFEST in the world as every test comparison to the current technology being used has shown, also with CATL's Sodium-ion battery technology improving through the largest battery company in the world it won't be long before both Nickel an Cobalt will completely be eliminated by many car company's why because SAFETY is first and foremost as car company's who don't like having to recall all there vehicles due to SAFETY an fire risks, it costs them billions just like it has recently with LG ENERGY who supplied the current battery packs to both Hyundai an GM costing them BILLIONS of Dollars, and also VW recently put a stop in its battery supplies using current battery technology supplied by LG CHEM and are in the process of building their own battery materials company with Belgium materials company Umicore and Umicore are also working in eliminating Nickel an Cobalt from their current batterys due the to SAFETY concerns with the current battery's.
So yes we can see who needs to do some more research into the future technology, will Car Companies go with the Fire Hazard Technology or the SAFEST Technology's whereby one costs them billions in recalls and the other never needs to be recalled cause it's the SAFEST in the World.
