When AUZ came out a little while back announcing they now hoped/expected to obtain finance by the end of the calendar year they would have needed LG energy to be on board at that point.
They just couldn't make that announcement without extension already from LG unofficially or officially. It would have to go hand in hand.
It is possible this was the only way of telling us without breaching any disclosure agreement.
Also when someone is in advanced discussions there is no way one hand (LG) doesn't know what the other hand (AUZ) is doing. I'm also pretty certain the third hand (Finance companies) are being kept in the loop.
All in my opinion.
I'm holding by the way.
