Fair perspective Mozza, but if Renault are going EV then forward projections suggest they like every other OEM are going to need all the lithium they can get their hands on. Credible market commentators talk about a structural deficit so in my opinion an OEM signing up to an offtake many years in the future from a still-speculative prospect carries no immediate risk (that’s probably how I should have termed it, to be fair).
