I agree, this latest ann citing a BOA de-risks the project. According to their last presentation, slide 24 shows the offtake agreements for each module, and its easy to see how they propose to sell 28.5ktpa of fines to POSCO under the BOA, and another 6.0ktpa large flake to POSCO (MOU). That's about ~40% of module production to POSCO. Now that a BOA has been signed, I'm feeling much more positive about the MOU for large flake being converted to binding, in due course.
In yesterday's ann in figure 2, it also shows BKT supplying 30ktpa offtake in 2025. If BKT have agreed to do this, they will have to get a wriggle on with building the plant, so that it comes on line in early 2025 (20 months construction time advised earlier). This is another reason why I'm thinking BKT intend to announce finance etc very soon, so plant construction can commence more or less immediately.
