Other activities (such as selling production licences) will be ancillary revenue streams.
The 2022Q2 report discussed the cooperation with other lepidolite miners to share concentrator designs and accelerate third-party mine development. The creation of a global market for lithium-rich micas may open access to additional feedstock sources.
As with spodumene, it is the lithium chemical producers (currently mostly in China) that capture the major margin shares. Miners are limited to digging and crushing rocks - not a lot of IP required.
