I get the feeling that LG energy solutions move so quickly into a offtake with ASN is to be in the box seat for various reasons.
I suspect that they will be looking to help fund the plant build by being issued shares in ASN, makes good business sense to me, I also suspect that they will eventually try to buy out the project some time after production starts due to the fact they are building so many battery plants in the USA.
If Anson was to place 100 million shares at 10 cents a share to LG energy solutions, it would be the start of a massive rerate in the share price as the market would then expect much larger partnering funding to come.
Watch this space, something very big could be announced any day now in my opinion.
