The brief history, as I understand it:
- Plant built in 2017, owned by Volga Elderberry
- Malachite Resources were in a JV to process ore there
- Ore processing was successful, but "the head grade, metallurgical recoveries and plant usage all lower than forecast"
- Malachite entered a dispute with Volga, dispute was settled in 2020
- Malachite went belly up
- Laneway Resources commenced processing of Agate Hill ore at Lorena in Q1 2021
- Crusher at Lorena broke down due to hardness of ore from Laneway, Laneway went elsewhere with 2200t of stockpile still requiring processing
- Laneway still operating, Lorena plant sitting idle
That's what I know, I'm certainly not an oracle on this, most of it is from research. As always DYOR and GLTAH
