Kjarten, I don’t think too much thought of discussion goes into anything that TBA m releases. A case in question. Looking at Mt Freda on Google map (Soldiers Cap). Seems around 30 klms of a dirt track and I counted 64 creek crossings to get to the highway. The wet season can start anywhere from August/September/October and finish February/March. Once the wet starts there is no possibility of running triple of double road trains to the new destination at Lorena which on Google another 5 klms of dirt rd from the highway. So I can see the heading now. Production Postponed due to Severe Catastrophic, Unexpected Tropical and Devastating Disastrous El Niño Wet Season. Photo of bogged trucks.I am joking of course. I’m sure that TBA took all of that into account. It’s a crying shame that the decision to abandon the heap leach option after 9 months of building the vats and process plant. Still cant think of a reason why that option was abolished. Considering only had transport the ore 1klm.No reason given. Does anyone know why? They may win a good idea prize if the company advised, why the sudden out of the blue switch. Why keep us in the dark? I think people starting to think something dark and embarrassing was the reason to spend $8m on another plant and abandoned the Vat option.
