im sure there are many questions and thoughts on this update. It all seems to be a very positive one and i liked reading that it is a significant milestone being that they are now testing for specific disease, and also that a challenge has been overcome with the degradation issue having been resolved. But my question is...why do we need to have kidney disease tested at such a fast rate on a chip without the results going to lab? surely this is one that the patient can wait a bit until the results come back from a lab? Where will this be of use? remote locations, underdeveloped countries?
