I think we do need to keep an eye on the number of strategic partnerships AXE has entered into to date. The ones that are specifically mentioned in announcements as well as having to speculate on the 170 plus potential NDAs Mo does not/ cannot talk about.

This biochip has now gone from one in Germany to one in the Netherlands. Typically these are smaller more specialised foundries like Nexperia in the Netherlands which is the only one I can find that makes wettable FETs. To add to this, the gFET that AXE holds the IPs for is a specialised graphene one that no foundry has worked with till now. And to answer Tizard's question,@Tizard which I probably misunderstood, the special AXE graphene would probably be fabricated in a lab again in Europe, Mo states in this announcement that these deals are done with AXE retaining the IP. I will have to put my confidence in these deals as ones that protect IP while taking advantage of lower development stage expenditure. Hardly a dent in the cash position which is still 23 million plus. As to what happens when commercial production starts is another question. What do these foundries get out of this. A slice, we can be sure. We can also hope that Global Foundries that AXE went into partnership for a bit with the 12CQ can be involved with the Biochip, but it would be a separate agreement and Mo may have mentioned it if it was the case. These nameless European foundries suggest new non disclosure agreements to me.

Which is why I'm more enthusiastic about the emphasis shifting to the digitization of bio sensor info and a platform that allows for a broad application in the data analytical fields and many use cases. More weight has to be given to the software applications than the hardware IMO. Data has become the new currency everywhere and any system/platform that can generate high quality data ethically will have the use case sorted.

One more thing to throw into the mix, because AXE tweeted this, is that quantum processing power like in the 12CQ can be coupled to the biochip platform ( or later versions of it?) at some point. Hard to know if this kind of synergy is even possible. In theory, yes it is possible to use an advanced version of a 12CQ helping on the back end of a classical computing front end and AXE has certainly put the idea out there.
