fabless = AXE designs and fabricates chips but doesn't own a foundry to make them in bulk. .... it sends the chip design via software to a foundry, like the one in the Netherlands
But who is AXE going to deliver these finished chips to ? And what's with all this ongoing designing stage? My guess is they're trying to make a multi purpose sensor chip and sell it to every lab that does sample analysis.
